Social Responsibility
We Contribute to the Vitality of the Local Community.
Social responsibility should of course influence all activities in the society of today, regardless of country. Unfortunately, this is not always true. Our way of complying with the requirements is to offer a safe and rewarding workplace for our employees. At the same time, we contribute to the vitality of the local community. When we choose projects to support, we consider the social aspect, equality, and the impact on local businesses. We promote an ethical corporate culture and strive to do “what’s right.” All our suppliers must sign the ACG Accent’s Purchase agreement and our Code of Conduct.
Specific measures and targets:
- Our Code of Conduct contains requirements for quality, product safety, sustainability, and use of chemicals.
- The Code of Conduct for Suppliers describes our expectations regarding human rights, employee relations, and health and safety.
- We have targets and action plans to continuously ensure and improve equal treatment and workplace safety. We also follow up the requirements through on-site visits.
